INFORMATION

Taj Mahal is a complex of buildings built between 1631 and 1648 in the city of Agra, (India) on the banks of river Yamuna by emperor Muslim. Besides, it’s considered one of the seven Wonders. At the door of the principal building we can find some verses of the Coran. These verses tell that Taj Mahal is a paradise.

There are a lot of gardens that have rectangular forms and you can see that there are gorgeous roses and fruit trees.

India is a country of Asia which is known for the high number of population. Citizens living under a republic with a president and a boss of government. The official language of this country is Hindi, which is spoken by 30% of the population. English is used for official and business matter. To enter any religious place visitors should enter barefoot.

LOVE STORY

Arjumand was emperor. Shah Jahan Arjumand met in a bazaar where it was selling crystals. He was amazed with her beauty and was not able to talk to her. She called Arjumand. Finally they got married and Arjumend was called like ‘Mumtaz Mahal’ because this name meant ‘the chosen of the palace’. They were very happy together. She went with him all his travels and he bought her jewerelly, flowers, diamonds… While he was fighting in battle, his servants told him that his wife had a difficult birth. When he arrived, he could only say goodbye to his wife.

Since then he wasn’t the same. He ordered to build the most beautiful building in the world. He contacted with the best builders and bought the best jewels and stones and finally he put her wife’s body in the palace. After a few years he was buried next to her because she wanted to be with him forever.
